archimedes

The prominence of the crater Archimedes is enhanced by its location in the smooth Mare Imbrium. Like many of the other large craters it is, however, extremely shallow. The ratio between it diameter and the inner face of its walls is 40:1, and for the outside of its walls the figure is 50:1.
